Here is an instance of a good time to use photoshop. Have you ever tried to blow bubbles at a nearly 2 year old while trying to photograph her at the same time? Im-Poe-See-Blay.
The picture really looks like this.
It's dark and it really gives you a feel for this gray Thursday on which my eldest son's baseball game was cancelled because of snow predictions.
So this theme of Grow. I wanted to show you a picture of Baby Peter's foot that was just as long as my thumb nearly seventeen years ago, and then a picture of my thumb and his foot today. But I'm going to spare you the gross and him the humiliation.
The bubble "growing" up there counts, right? Right?!?
Approximately 3.5 bottles of bubbles were spilled during the creation of these photos. Good thing we did this in the bathroom.
Sometimes the blurry ones are good too.

ReplyDeleteI love the bubbles! And I totally relate to spilled bubble bottles... We haven't done indoor bubbling in a while, but when I still attempted it the kids knew to just get towels out first. Kitchen towels wrapped around bubble bottles and laying in our area just for the random clean up that would be needed. lol Ahhhh good times....

ReplyDeleteOne of my best parenting moments ever was the night that I let the kids have a bottle of bubbles in the bathtub, and then served them dinner WHILE BATHING! They still talk about it as the greatest thing I've ever done (and it was 5 years ago). Bubbles totally rock!
