Theme Thursday: Dozen

I saw that Cari had posted her Theme Thursday Dozen link-up just as I was taking these babies out of the oven.

The back dozen are straight-up whole wheat banana muffins.  The front dozen have mini chocolate chips in them.

Guess which ones are gone right now?

The batter at the bottom of the mixing bowl was slightly thicker, and had noticeably less chips in it.  Draw your own conclusions as to why this happened.

Banana Chocolate mess cooked on the bottom of my oven, until I wiped it off with a wad of wet paper towels.

From what I can tell, they taste just as good as the rest.  I'll keep you posted on my continuing studies in this area.

I used this Moist Whole Wheat Banana Bread recipe, which omits the mixing in of the flour, but I always remember before it's too late.  To turn this into muffins, I used greased muffin tins and filled them about two-thirds full.  Bake for 20 min.  They may need another 5 minutes at the end.

Linking up with Cari for Theme Thursday.
