She wasn't that unaware. She asked me to get out my "cramera" because she couldn't get the zipper on the bag undone.

Theme Thursday: Unawares
She wasn't that unaware. She asked me to get out my "cramera" because she couldn't get the zipper on the bag undone.
Later today, she was seen wearing her "croak" and carrying a basket of goodies to Grandmudder.
Here is Edmund, working on his Apostles' Creed lapbook. The purple strips are the the lines of the Apostles' Creed, and the green ones are the Nicene Creed. He has to put them in order. He's wearing a coat because...well....it's 2 degrees outside and we left shortly after this was taken for Jill's library storytime.
In other news, I corrected his math paper today with a pink crayon. I think that means we've passed some kind of homeschooling benchmark or something.
Thanks to Cari and the Theme Thursday peeps!

Haha! The corrected with pink crayon made me laugh - at least you got it corrected!
ReplyDeleteYes, pink crayon corrections is defintiely a homeschooling benchmark. After the crayon use, comes blood use to correct papers. ;)
ReplyDeleteSort of like Professor Umbridge!
DeleteGosh J looks so grown up there. Maybe it's the hair down? I don't know.
ReplyDeleteWe've lost all! our! scissors! so our lapbook progress has come to a screeching halt.
If you need a screwdriver, chances are you'll find all the scissors but no screwdrivers. At least that's how it works around here.
DeleteI _like_ that lapbook idea. I memorized the Apostles Creed for First Communion but since my family didn't pray the rosary, never used it until much later and so have forgotten in. I kind of bumble along with it by comparing it to the Nicene Creed in my mind!
ReplyDeleteI've got the Apostles' Creed down, but with the new translation, I sort of mumble and lip sync the Nicene Creed. I mean it's been over a year, so I can't really keep reading it off the card anymore, can I?
DeleteCramera, I love that! Go Edmund! And I think pink crayon is more friendly than red pen so you're winning in my book.
ReplyDeleteLove the focused look on Edmund's face--concentration!
ReplyDeleteCute Princess Parade!
