One of my most treasured recipes is my great-aunt Sister Christella's sugar cookie recipe. It makes a vast quantity because she was the cook for a school with hundreds of children. Her recipe calls for margarine (I only use butter) and milk or bourbon depending on your mood.
I used this cream cheese frosting recipe, as well as this ziploc baggie frosting technique.
I am in love with these tiny waxflowers that Jill put in her tiny cart at Trader Joe's that only tipped over once.
When your tulips start to droop (or before that happens), you can bring them right back up with pennies in the vase. Truth.
If I had snipped off those dark furry things, these lilies would have lasted longer and smelled better.
